A2 an electric car has presently placed a new world distance record this week
by traveling 600 kilometers (372 miles) from Munich, in southern Germany to
Berlin, without recharging its battery it means on a single charge of the
battery. Mirko Hannemann was the driver of this car who made a record this week
and according to the German firms Lekker Energie and DBM Energy, the electric
Audi A2 was formed to give a new green meaning to urban transport. It means
excellent for the global environment.

Two
Car Manufacturer Firms Announcement

The
two firms ‘German firms Lekker Energie’ and ‘DBM Energy’ declared that their EV
had the longest road traveled by an electric car. Both firms welcome the recent
world record from Audi A2 electric car. Before this, electric cars could on
average only go 60 or 70 kilometers before recharging. Economy Minister Rainer
Bruederle stated about the new record of the electric car. (This is a
technological leap forward).

Moreover,
Chancellor Angela Merkel endeavors to bring more than one million electric cars
on German roads by the end of 2020. Meanwhile, famous car companies like
Volkswagen and luxury car-maker BMW have both proclaimed that nearly in the
future both companies plan and arrange to discharge their first electric motor
vehicle on the market by 2013.
