Chinese
manufacturer BAIC (Beijing Automotive Industry Company) paid General Motors
$200 million late last year for the privileges to immerse into the Saab parts
bin. BAIC’s agreement approved it access to the previous-generation Saab 9-5
stage and the pre-2006 Saab 9-3. The Chinese vehicle manufacturers worked over
the 9-5, giving it a slender freshening before presenting it to the civic
