Khawaja Yahya Kabir Gharghashi
(May Allah Have Mercy on Him)
Birth: 707 A.H, (1307 A.D.) Death: 834 A.H, (1430 A.D.)
For 40 years at a stretch, be accompanied by MakhdoomJahanian Jahangasht in his travels through various cities of Afghanistan, Iran
Russia, Arabia, etc, and preached and propagated Islam.
Amongst those who spread the light of Islam in Balochistan
the name of Khawaja Yahya Kabir Gharghashi is a distinguished one. he was born
at Sher Ali, in the vicinity of Solomon mountains.
After completing his religious education he was in search
of a perfect man. At that time, he dreamt that the Holy Prophet’s (peace be
upon him) was ordering him to become a disciple of Makhdoom Jahanian
Jahanghasht.
And, so, on returning to Balochistan after traveling
through Iran and Seistan and he became a disciple of Makhdoom in 749 A.H. For
40 years at a stretch he accompanied Makhdoom Jahanian Jahangasht, in his
travels through various cities preaching and propagating Islam.
The
number of his disciples and Lieutenants is said to number over one hundred
thousand.
روایت میں ہے کہ دینی علُوم کی تکمیل کے بعد آپؒ مردِ کامل کی تلاش میں تھے کہ حضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خواب میں مخدوم جہانیاں جہاں گشت سے بیعت ہونے کا حکم فرمایا۔
بعد میں آپ نے مخدوم صاحب سے اجازت و خلافت حاصل کی۔
