The
objective of Life and Its acquisition:

Naturally,
it is found inside human being to find out what is the purpose of his life. Why
was he born and born for whom? Who is the real purpose of humans? How can this
goal be achieved?

The
meaningfulness of a person’s life would have been achieved by the same purpose.
Without it, it becomes unmatched and unrealistic. The study of the Holy Quran
shows that the purpose of the entire universe is the same. All creatures are
demanding a real creator, and in this search of the realistic creator, the
entire universe is anxious.

Purpose
of Life – Worship – Devotion:

Who
is and where is the actual creator? Moreover, what is the way to reach this
real Creator? This is a difficult problem. This problem is to be discussed
today. The nature of human beings testifies to it that when a man thinks from
his sound mind. Besides, man considers the purpose of his life. Therefore, he
gets the answers to his question.

إلهي أنت
مقصودي ورضاك مطلوبي

O,
my Lord! You are my objective and Your Pleasure is my desire.

And
I did not create the jinn and humankind except to worship Me.

(Quran
Chapter, 51: 56 Ad-Dhariyat-The Winnowing Winds).

When
the narratable persons (remembrance of Allah) attain the quality of sincerity,
consequently this below phrase is paid from their tongue. Hence, it proved to be,
Allah Almighty is the real purpose. Worshiping Allah Almighty is the purpose of
life. Now it is to consider that what the actual meaning of worship is.

The
connotation of worship:

A
famous Islamic scholar ‘Ibn Taymiyyah’, in a thorough study of word worship,
says that there are two things in the meaning of worship. The first thing is
obedience, Adoration, and someone needs to be disciplined. Love is the second
thing in worship. In this light of the research of this Islamic scholar, two
major components are found within the worship, first is obedience and the second
is affection.

If
someone is obeyed if there is no love affection then that love will not count. Besides,
if someone is in love with someone, this will not be considered as worship if
it is not obeyed. When love and obedience are merged, then it becomes worship.

Therefore
the meaning of the above-mentioned verse is now this,

I
created the jinn and humans only to worship me, love me, and obey me. The
purpose of life in Islam has been used in two sweet words.

لَا إِلٰهَ
إِلَّا الله مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ الله‎ (Arabic)

la
ilaha illallah muhammadur rasulullah (Roman English)

There
is no god but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of God (English translation).
