The Saints, Awliya Allah, Friends of Allah Almighty:
Allah,
the Lord of Glory has made man the noblest of creatures. Man is endowed with
such blessings, which man cannot even count. Humans and jinns are created only
for the worship of Allah Almighty.
If
we look at the history of Islam, it becomes clear that Allah Almighty sent Holy Prophets to guide the entire mankind. These Holy Prophets continued to perform the duty
of guiding mankind well and in god way in their respective eras. Honorable Muhammad (PBUH)
is the last of the Prophets.
After
him, the chain of Prophethood came to an end, so after Muhammad PBUH saints were
sent to guide entire mankind. Which will continue till the Day of
Resurrection.
The
scholars have mentioned many signs of “Awliya Allah”, as the theologians say,
“The Actual Friend is the one who has a correct and reasoned belief and
performs good deeds according to the Shari’ah (an Islamic religious law).
Allah’s
friends (the saints) have no grief of the past and no fear of the future. They have peace in
their hearts and peace and tranquility as well. They are pleased with Allah and Allah
is pleased with them. . Seeing their luminous face reminds Allah.
They are the trustees of strength and honor. They are evidence of monotheism and Prophethood.
Every respected man considers his happiness to be present at their doorstep. The
Qur’an is deeply present in their lives. Reading their biographies makes one
realize the greatness of the Qur’an.
They
are the guardians of Allah and His Messenger. The greatness and love of Allah
and His Messenger are present in their hearts. The love that makes both worlds
needless. The love that is required of Allah and His Messenger.
The
love is the purpose of the Qur’an. The love that exceeds the desire of parents,
siblings, children, relatives, friends, trade, houses, and palaces. The love
that opens the window of mercy.
The
love that opens the door to guidance. That is why we get such true and sincere
love from the friends of Allah (Auliya Allah, the Saints). They are so engrossed in the
love of Allah and His Messenger that they are uninterested in the love of the entire
world. They have the teaching of politeness.
These
are high-ranking human beings. The person who becomes attached to their valued feet
also becomes high. The heights are in their destiny. The heights are in their
footsteps.
The friends of Allah spend all
their energies for the pleasure of Allah and His Messenger and on the contrary,
we devote our energies only for the pleasure of our (Ego) souls and in the demand of the world.
They talk about heights, moral and we
talk about depths. We run after the things of the world which are mortal in reality and the world does not
come into our hands, and on the contrary, the world runs after the friends of
Allah (Auliya Allah), they do not come into the hands of the world. There is no
defect in their hearts, their hearts are pure.
In the hearts of Allah’s friends,
The whole world seems to be wrapped in their fists. Their friendships and generosity won and
triumph over the hearts of ordinary people. Whoever you see, he follows them.
Nothing is heard from them except
the word love. They do not speak of hatred. They live even after death, and we
are alive as that if we are lifeless. If the heart is alive then man is alive,
and if the heart is dead then living man is also like a corpse.
The importance of body, mind, and
soul are important in their own place. Parents train the body of their child.
Teachers train the mind. But the friends of Allah train the soul and especially
the dead and disappointed soul.
(God’s) Allah Almighty friends (Auliya
Allah) are the teachers of our souls. They teach us how to live in the world. They
civilize savage-minded people. They reunite disillusioned people with Allah.
They connect hearts.
They awaken the soul. In this
atmosphere of tension and hatred, their company is the greatest. They take the
frustrated man out of the annoying swamps of the world and give him a wide
view. They don’t detach people from the world.
They encourage frustrated and
anxious people to improve their lives. By being in the company of Allah’s
friends, man gets such a special wise vision that the whole world seems to be a child’s play.
By the grace of Allah’s friends, a man
realizes his power, and he becomes aware of the secret that man has not come to
fall. The monasteries of Allah’s friends (Auliya Allah) have been a source of
strength and power only to establish peace in society.
They assure the common man that you
have great power of faith. They have played an important role in history. They
have reformed scattered societies and empires. They turned the time with their deep and vast vision.
Awliya Allah:
They have ruled over hearts. The
rule over the stone and human beings is a mortal thing. But on the contrary,
the rule on hearts and souls is not something transitory but immortal.
Allah has declared the footprints
of His friends to be the straight path. Their name made the source of
salvation. The study of the Qur’an reveals the greatness of Allah’s friends
(Auliya Allah).
When Allah takes a true human being
as His friend, He announces to the entire universe through angels that He is My
Beloved Servant, after that God’s proclamation the people come to them in
droves, and a kind of peace and blossom lawn opens all around.
Wherever
the friends of Allah went, they carried the light of Islam. Wherever they went,
they carried the fragrance of their Prophet’s highest morals. Wherever they went,
they made the atmosphere radiant, and they spread fragrance in the atmosphere
with their good manners.
The
biggest reason for our humiliation and deprivation is that we considered them
as ordinary human beings like us and we turned away from the friends of Allah.
Our
hearts are emptied of a sense of His greatness. But we less intelligent people
have forgotten that their love creates strength in the hearts.
Quran
Says about Awliya Allah:
“No doubt! Verily, the Auliya of
Allah [i.e. those who believe in the Oneness of Allah (God) and fear Allah much
(abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden), and love
Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)], no fear
shall come upon them nor shall they grieve. (Quran Chapter Yunus (Jonah:
10:62).
(Chapter Verse. 10:62) Narrated Abu
Sa’id Khudri (Allah pleased with him) Allah’s Messenger said, “When the funeral
is ready and the man carry it on their shoulders if the deceased was righteous,
it will say: ‘Present me (hurriedly), ‘ and he was not righteous, it will say:
‘Woe to it (me)! Where are they taking it (me)? ‘Its voice is heard by
everything except man, and if he heard it, he would fall unconscious.” (Sahih
Al-Bukhari, Vol. 2, Hadith NO.400).
Conclusion:
Would that someone would learn the
way of life from the friends of Allah (Auliya Allah), someone would learn to
sacrifice for others. Allah Almighty loves His friends so much that Whoever turns away from them is always deprived of the love of God’s friends.
The same secret has been revealed in the case of Adam and the Devil.
Come
to join them, and settle your hearts with the friends of Allah. Raise your eyes
towards them, extend your hands towards them. So that we may have success in
both this world and the hereafter.
اولیاء اللہ
اللہ رب العزت نے انسان کواشرف المخلوقات بنایاہے۔ انسان کوطرح طرح کی نعمتیں عطاکی ہیں۔ جن کاانسان شماربھی نہیں کرسکتاانسانوں اورجنوں کومحض اللہ پاک کی عبادت کے لئے پیداکیاگیاہے تاریخ اسلام پراگرنگاہ دوڑائی جائے تو یہ حقیقت سامنے آجاتی ہے، کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے مخلوق کی ہدایت کے لئے انبیاء کرام کومبعوث فرمایا،ان انبیاء کرام نے اپنے اپنے ادوارمیں مخلوق کی ہدایت کافریضہ بخوبی انجام دیتے رہے۔ حضرت محمدمصطفیﷺخاتم النبین ہیں آپﷺکے بعدنبوت کاسلسلہ ختم ہوگیا۔اس لئے آقاﷺکے بعدامت کی ہدایت اوررہبری کے لیے اولیاء کرام بھیجے گئے، جن کاسلسلہ قیامت تک جاری وساری رہیگا۔
اللہ کے دوستوں کو نہ ماضی کا غم ہے اور نہ مستقبل کا اندیش، ان کے دل میں چین ہی چین ہے، اور سکون ہی سکون ہے، وہ اللہ سے راضی ہیں اور اللہ ان سے راضی ہے، دنیا میں بھی سرخرو اور آخرت میں بھی سرفراز. ان کے نورانی چہرے کو دیکھ کر اللہ یاد آتا ہے. وہ قوت اور عزت کے امین ہیں. وہ توحید اور رسالت کے دلیل ہیں. ہر صاحب شوکت ان کے در پر حاضری اپنی سعادت سمجھتا ہے. ان کی زندگی جیتا جاگتا قرآن ہے. ان کی سیرتوں کو پڑھ کر قرآن کی عظمت کا احساس ہوتا ہے
وہ الله اور رسول کے پاسدار ہیں. وہ محبت جو دونوں عالم سے بے نیاز کردیا کرتی ہے. وہ محبت جو الله اور رسول کی مطلوب ہے. وہ محبت جو قرآن کا مقصود ہے. وہ محبت جو ماں باپ، بھائی بہن، اولاد، اقارب، دوست، تجارت، مکانات اور محلات کی چاہت سے بڑھ چڑھ کر ہے. وہ محبت جو رحمت کے دریچے کھولتی ہے۔
وہ محبت جو ہدایت کے دروازے کھولتی ہے. اس لئے ہاں ہمیں ایسی سچی اور کھری محبت الله کے دوستوں کے پاس ملتی ہے. وہ الله اور رسول کی محبت میں ایسے مگن ہیں کہ جس کی وجہ سے سارے عالم کی محبت سے بے پرواہ ہیں. وہ ادب آموزمحبت ہیں. وہ بہت بلند ہیں. جو انسان بھی ان کے دامن سے وابستہ ہو جاتا ہے وہ بھی بلند ہو جاتا ہے. بلندیاں ان کے نصیب میں ہیں. بلندیاں ان کے قدموں میں ہیں۔
اللہ کے دوست اپنی ساری توانیاں الله اور رسول کی رضا جوئی کے لئے صرف کرتے ہیں اور اس کے برعکس ہم اپنی توانائیاں اپنے نفس کی خوشنودی کے لئے صرف کرتے ہیں. وہ بلندیوں کے بارے میں بات کرتے ہیں، اورہم پستیوں کی. ہم دنیا کے اشیا کے پیھچے بھاگتے ہیں اور دنیا ہمارے ہاتھ نہیں آتی، اور اس کے برعکس دنیا الله کے دوستوں کے پیھچے بھااگتی ہے، وہ دنیا کے ہاتھ نہیں آتے. ان کے دلوں میں کوئی کھوٹ نہیں ہوتی ہے، ان کے دل صاف ہوتے ہیں
الله کے دوستوں کے دل میں سارا جہاں سمٹا ہوا معلوم ہوتا ہے. ان کی دوستیاں اور جان نوازیاں عام انسان کے دلوں کو کھنچ لیتی ہے. جسکو بھی دیکھو ان کے پیھچے چلا آتا ہے. ان کے ہاں حرف محبت کے علاوہ کوئی بات نہیں سنی جاتی. وہ نفرت کی بات نہیں کرتے. وہ مر کے بھی زندہ رہتے ہیں، اور ہم زندہ ہو کر بھی ایسے ہیں جیسے بے جان ہوں. دل زندہ ہے تو انسان زندہ ہے، اور دل مردہ ہے تو زندہ انسان بھی ایک لاش کی طرح ہے. جسم، دماغ اور روح کی اہمیت اپنی اپنی جگہ اہم ہیں.
والدین جسم کی تربیت کرتے ہیں. استاد دماغ کی تربیت کرتے ہیں. لیکن روح کی تربیت الله کے دوست کرتے ہیں
الله کے دوست ہمارے روح کے مربی ہیں. وہ ہمیں دنیا میں جینے کے انداز سکھاتے ہیں. وہ وحشی سوچ والے انسانوں کو مہذب بناتے ہیں. وہ الله کی رحمت سے مایوس انسانوں کو الله سے پھر ملاتے ہیں. وہ دلوں کو جوڑتے ہیں. وہ روح کو جگاتے ہیں. تناؤ و کھچاؤ اور نفرت و بیزاری کے اس ماحول میں ان کی صحبت اکسیر اعظم ہے. وہ مایوس انسان کو دنیا کی مایوس کن دلدلوں سے نکال کر ان کو وسعت فکر و نظر دیتے ہیں. وہ لوگوں کو دنیا سے بے زار نہیں کرتے ہیں. وہ مایوس اور پرشان لوگوں کو زندگی کو سنوارنے کا حوصلہ دیتے ہیں. الله کے دوستوں کی صحبت میں رہکر انسان کو وہ نظر ملتی ہے کہ سارا جہاں بازیچہ اطفال نظر آنے لگتا ہے۔
اللہ کے دوستوں کے فیض سے انسان کو اپنی قوت کا احساس و ادراک ہوتا ہے، اور یہ راز معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ انسان سمٹنے کے لئے نہیں آیا. وہ عام انسان کو یہ بات باور کراتا ہے کہ وہ ایک عظیم قوت ہے. الله کے دوستوں کی خانقاہیں طاقت و قوت کا سرچشمہ رہی ہیں. تاریخ میں انہوں نے ایک اہم کردار ادا کیا ہے. انہوں نے منتشرمعاشرے اور سلطنتوں کو سنوارا ہے. اپنی وسعت نظرسے زمانے کا رخ پلٹا دیا. انہوں نے دلوں پر حکومت کی ہے. سنگ و خشت اور انسانوں پر حکومت آنی جانی اور فانی چیز ہے. مگر اس کے برعکس دل و جان پر حکومت آنی جانی چیز نہیں، بلکہ غیر فانی ہے۔
کاش کہ اللہ کے دوستوں سے کوئی جینا کا ڈھنگ سیکھے، کوئی انسان دوسروں کے لئے قربانی دینا سیکھے. الله کو اپنے دوست اتنے محبوب ہیں، کہ جو ان سے پیٹھ پھرتا ہے ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کے لئے ان کی محبت سے محروم ہو جاتے ہیں. آدم ا ابلیس کے واقعے میں اسی راز کو کھولا گیا ہے۔
اللہ نے اپنے دوستوں کے قدموں کے نشان کو صراط مستقیم قرار دیا ہے. ان کے اثار کو وسیلہ ظفر بنا دیا ہے. ان کے نام کو ذریعہ نجات بنایا. قرآن کے مطالعہ سے الله کے دوستوں کی عظمتیں اجاگر ہوتی چلی جاتی ہیں. جب الله کسی سچے انسان کو اپنا دوست بنا لیتا ہے، تو سارے عالم میں فرشتوں کے ذریعے سے اعلان کرا دیتا ہے کہ یہ میرا محبوب بندہ ہے، پھر لوگ ان کے ہاں جوق درجوق کجلے آتے ہیں، اور چاروں طرف ایک چمن سا کھل جاتا ہے۔
الله کے دوست جہاں گئے اسلام کی روشنی لے کر گئے. وہ جہاں بھی گئے اپنے نبی کے اعلیٰ اخلاق کی خوشبوئیں لے کر گئے. وہ جہاں بھی گئے وہاں کے ماحول کو جگمگایا، اور فضا کو اپنے اچھے اخلاق سے مہکایا، اور ہماری پستیوں اور ہماری محرومیوں کا سب سے بڑا سبب یہی ہے کے الله کے دوستوں کو ہم نے اپنے جیسا انسان سمجھ کر ان سے منہ پھیر لیا اور پھر ان کے اچھے اخلاق کے قدموں کے نشان کو چھوڑ دیا. دل ان کی عظمتوں کے احساس سے خالی ہو گئے، لیکن ہم کم عقل والے لوگ یہ بھول گئے کہ ان کی محبت سے تو دلوں میں قوت پیدا ہوتی ہے۔
آئیے، پھرالله کے دوستوں سے اپنے دلوں کو آباد کریں. ان کی طرف آنکھ اٹھائیں، ان کی طرف ہاتھ بڑھا ئیں. تاکہ ہمیں دنیا و آخرت دونوں کی کامیابیاں حاصل ہو جائیں۔
